Marju, born in 1950, lives in Turku and has been a Myssy Granny since Spring 2018. She reminisces how her great grandmother used to spin their pet sheep’s wool into a yarn with a spinning wheel. Being a Myssy Granny is not an intrinsic value for Marju, she rather appreciates the utilization of Finnsheep wool to create sustainable products, and offering a valued job for the Myssy Grannies at the same time. During her free time, Marju loves to be outdoors, spend time at the summer cottage and travel. Marju is proud of her family and her life’s work as a work and school lunch developer. She has even received a Medal for Extraordinary Achievement from a Finland Chamber of Commerce. Marju reveals that she is a very determined Myssy Granny who hates suprises.
